  Still hanging out with my friends after the Rubber Ducks game (Akron, OH's minor league baseball team) and we decided to grab some dinner here. Even my client at work said this place was good so it has to be if the locals are talking about it! Let's see how it is!
  
  Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is huge! Once you're through the small maze of the lobby doors you walk in to what feels like the side of the elongated restaurant. To the right you have some tables, but to the left you have more tables, the bar, kitchen then past all of that... more room for seating. You can stuff a lot of folks in here. Lol. The ceilings are high, the lighting isn't too bright and the music was pretty cool. This place felt like you could hang out with a group of your friends or have a nice date here.
  
  Service: Kenzie took excellent care of us. She was funny, personable and made sure that we had everything we needed.
  
  Food: I'm a huge chicken wing fan so I had to try both the Hot and the Thai Garlic Wings. They were pretty good to be honest! I enjoyed the hot over the other flavor, but both were delightful. I followed those up with a Cilantro Roll which is spicy tuna topped with tuna, crunchy flakes and special sauces. It was fantastic and comes with quite the presentation. I'd definitely get this entire meal again.
  
  Value: Pretty good man. I got 12 wings for $14.00 ($7.00 per order of 6) and my roll was $14.00, but the GOOD sushi rolls are never cheap. My gin and tonics were CHEAP though. Lol. $4.75 a piece and Kenzie was hookin' 'em up!
  
  In conclusion I liked Cilantro. I'd love to return here if I'm in the area again and try out more of their extensive menu.

  Great veg options. I especially love their fried Tofu appetizer and Tofu Rama. Portions are little small and desserts are really lacking. Atmosphere is nice
  
  UPDATE...quality is really slipping. Seemed real dirty tonight and they got rid of their whole 'vegetarian' section.

  First restaurant when I arrived in Akron Ohio for a quick visit with family, hope the others we go to leave a better impression than this one.  First of all we arrived at 9 closes at 9:30 so there's time for a meal right?  Then the hostess was rude we should have took that as a sign to leave she was not very happy to see us and didn't really want to seat us we should have left.... The food was average nothing to write home about but the service was terrible we really should have just left...  The waitress said she needed our order in 5 mins I barely got a chance to read the menu that seemed interesting being a Thai Japanese fusion well I felt rushed so I ordered safe tempura shrimp and their  signature cilantro roll we also got crab Rangoons and veg udon soup food was OK.  I got indigestion trying to eat so quickly because they made us feel we needed to gtfo already.  We really should have left when the RUDE HOSTESS pretty much gave us all the signs not to eat there. Next time just say sorry we're closed instead of ruining our dinner.

  There are so many reasons why this place is awful; but I'll just give you the top reasons. Number 1, it's filthy, I couldn't even pick up my menu because it was stuck to the table. All of the air vents, yes even the ones directly above where you are about to eat are disgusting. Number 2, the food is bad. The crab rangoon is awful and filled with a brown mush. The sushi smelled like it came out of a runoff pond at the nearest public golf course. Number 3, the decor is just plain weird. The front door steps you into the dining room, not a hostess stand. There's cheetah print and dollar store Christmas lights everywhere and adorning the bar is an enormous eagle in front of a silver cast of the White House. Do not go here. This place will not last much longer. *No complaints about the service, our waitress was fine.

  Meh.
  
  Service: not personable at all. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. I tried to make conversation with her and she straight up ignored me. Awkward.
  
  Drinks: lynchee martini was SUPER floral but flavorful. They have some Maui brewing company beers available which are delicious.
  
  Food: sushi was very good. The cilantro special and spicy crab were both very yummy. Big portion and tasted fresh. We would get again.
  
  Yakisoba seafood- the noodles and veggies were good and had a good flavor. The seafood did not taste fresh and was pretty gross. Squid, mussels, and scallops were all less than mediocre. The shrimp was the only seafood I sort of could stomach.
  
  I don't think I'll come back. There's too many other sushi / Thai / Asian restaurants around that are way better.
